CSA 7th Grade Science

Middle schoolers are my favorite!  There is never a dull day in a middle school.  I enjoy teaching science through project based learning (PBL).  The PBL process is very similar to following the scientific method and incorporates a level of authenticity to learning that I value.  PBL also gives me an avenue to help students become leaders and develop real world skills that they will be able to apply in high school and after.  

I received my Bachelors in Education from the University of Kentucky, Go Wildcats! My students quickly notice my blue in this world of crimson and black and gold.  I met my husband, who is a Columbus native, while at UK and once we started our own family we moved to Columbus.  We now have two boys who constantly keep us on our toes.  As a family we love spending time outdoors and riding our bikes.
